We just returned from two busy days in Atlanta for the launch of our new fabric collection, Root Cellar Designs.  We are excited to note our fabrics are now offered to the design trade in the Bradley showroom in Atlanta's ADAC center. More about that later, but while at ADAC, we popped into visit our friend Julianne Taylor of Taylor Burke Home to celebrate the opening of her brand new showroom in Atlanta.  We love Taylor Burke Home, and their colorful, unique pieces peppered with interesting art and accessories makes shopping for clients a breeze.  It is an exciting time for the relatively newcomer in the design industry and since Julianne Taylor started her company, she has been on a whirlwind ride to the top.  Today, her designs are uber popular with the design community.  They have carved out a lovely niche for themselves in the ever changing world of interior design.  We were invited to this festive kick-off party and happy to note beautifully color filled walls, and a stylish showroom with interesting details around every corner.  The furnishings combined with unique art by Mitchell Black and accessories from Times Two Design gives us much fodder for Fall Decorating.  A very special congratulations to Julianne and we can't wait to see what the future brings.
You may remember last April, Taylor Burke Home generously donated their gorgeous hide-covered Kelly bench to our Designer's Atelier at Design on A Dime in New York City.  The bench finished off our design perfectly, and buyers were out bidding one another for the piece, all to donate to this worthy cause.

some of our favorite Taylor Burke Home pieces...
with a gold base and this moody charcoal upholstery,
Hollings Chair is modern and sexy!

Small X bench would fit nicely into a cozy urban apartment and has the mobility to move easily.  It's lovely in the zebra print.
Gregg Park 2-seater is also a perfect size option for chic, urban living
The Kings Grant Arm Chair
packs a lot of style, and it's quite comfortable to boot.

Congratulations to Julianne Taylor and her dynamic team, and we look forward to more from Taylor Burke Home!

Happy Nesting
