What We Love Today Column: Photographs by David L. Raines

Channeling Underwater Jewels...
Chronicles of beautiful images from David L. Raines
at DLR Photography
While in the throes of a nippy Fall here in New York City, it feels refreshing to offer these sunny images.

last spring, we decorated a room at the annual Design On A Dime in New York City.  We were very fortunate to have the generous sponsorship of many design brands.  We especially love the photography David L. Raines donated to our dining room design, they were a pair of unframed, modern panels depicting water and undersea moments, and they added a great deal to our aesthetic.  Today, we bring you this photographer's underwater photographs--these are up close and almost unrecognizable as undersea creatures.  They are colorful and exotic.  It's important to note David's photography is varied in addition to nature, he creates collections of people and cultural experiences.  Please check him out at DLR Photography.

about David L. Raines:
Raines has had a life-long passion for photography, and since studying at the School of Visual Arts, his photographs discover memorable settings covering the breadth of undersea life and even documenting an emerging health initiative on the island of Grenada.  When not wielding a camera, he manages Osbee Industries, an upscale audio visual company.

I hope you find these images as inspiring as we do!

Happy Nesting
