I have said it before and I'll say it again,

Even with the honed eye of a talented designer, what most magazine spreads often miss with their uber stylized and edited profiles is the importance of the home owner's unique personal touch,
which brings to life the paint colors, art on the walls, rugs and furniture plan.

To the designer's eye this weekend home in the woodsy section of the Hamptons is a beauty. It is perched high on a hill with beautiful vistas overlooking the farms and ocean, and designed with modern, clean-lines, soaring ceilings and lots of light streaming in from the many oversized windows.
There is no doubt this is a beautiful home...

a refreshing departure from the popular cedar shingle beach houses in the area, this beauty sits high on a hill, designed with a stone mason's artisan touch, rich wood and neutral tones which soothe.
Both Victoria and Gadi's warmth exudes,
and is felt the moment you are enthusiastically welcomed into their home. What better way to express ourselves and show our style then to break bread with family and friends and invite them into our nest. A delicious refreshment is instantly provided, and food and delights are offered up. You feel Victoria's stylish fashion sense and nurturing mid-western values, yet the warmth and sophistication of Gadi's Mediterranean roots are equally present. The couple regularly hosts Friday night Shabbat dinners with gusto, and if invited you are in for a treat.

Equestrian sports are often a life-long pursuit,
and can encompass an entire family's focus.
When working with horses,
there is almost always something new to learn
about and challenge ourselves from these incredible animals.

interested in this ethereal horse art and photography?
Gabby and I spent over an hour touring the small studio in Soho and became enthralled in the passion of this artist who spent a great deal of time observing and living amongst these wild horses, capturing their great spirit. Roberto Dutesco is a Romanian-born artist who began as a fashion photographer. Over fourteen years of viewing these creatures with the camera lens, he has put together an amazing collection. Together with Peter Tunney they compiled this exhibition, and also produced a mesmerizing documentary "Chasing Wild Horses" in 2008.

I am instantly inspired each time I view these equestrian images, made larger than life and mounted under glass they are fresh and modern yet capture something raw and wild, showcasing the spirit of horses living in the nature together as a family
