a recent bathroom project I created using both subway tile and wallpaper: a classic bathroom, and we used a simple freestanding vanity sink in porcelain
I love to add wallpaper in powder rooms and baths too, like this one I designed
Whether I'm designing classic, country bathrooms or luxury urban bathrooms, I am always on the look-out for gorgeous, high quality bathroom products. With a new project on the horizon, I have been given the task to find these items for clients on a tight budget.

I'm also excited to add interesting wallpaper collections to the new bathroom...loving this one which appeared in Elle Decor magazine

I am drooling over this vanity and floor
I've said it before and I'll say it again: luxury design begins and ends in two rooms in a house: kitchens and bathrooms. There is something wonderfully decadent after a long day to return home and run a luxurious bubble bath in an over sized bathtub with fine fittings.

As I plan my fall design projects -- I'm excited about a new bath renovation project. We will take a relatively small bathroom, knock out a closet and hopefully create an expansive space for this young couple with children. Then we will tweak a powder bathroom as well, and add wallpaper and a sink. Because they are on a tight budget, I have had to do my homework and stray from my regular high-end showrooms to find quality products. I came across these bathroom vanities,
which range in style from contemporary to classic on the website Modern Bathrooms.
this made my short list of vanities, from Cole & Company for the powder room. I like the fluting detail and concave demilune shape of the Kinkaid, and fits with the client's desire to have brushed nickel fittings. I found it on the website's antique vanities section where there are many reproduction vanities that harken to another era
In the modern vanities section these two cuties caught my eye. First, this modern vanity is made of alder and cherry, and stained in an espresso finish. With tapered front legs and chrome accents, looks great with the marble top and has a glamorous feel.
The Lexi Sink Cabinet is made with Poplar wood with a Porcelain top and wide sink basin. Not right for this client, I could see this vanity in a kid's bathroom and the slatted shelf perfect for towel storage, and offers an adjustable height.
But, I think my favorite from Modern Bathroom's for this project is this Fairmont Designs Toledo with an open shelf in color, Driftwood Gray
Oh, and in my surf travels, I came across a colorful bathroom accoutrements and accessories sale -- you may want to stop by One Kings Lane and
shop on their Bath Sale in the next two days
