Since 1988 the annual event has raised over a whopping $15 million dollars, and it is refreshing to note that all proceeds go towards helping to improve the lives and opportunities for low-income New Yorkers.   This year's gala evening promises a lovely sit down dinner and an award presentation followed by an auction jam-packed with donated wares.
