Wildwood offers many table lamp options with various styles & finishes; I love these ceramic palms for table or wall art; bottom- lighting galore from modern and oversized chandeliers to traditional sconces, standing/table lamps.
Two weeks ago we wrapped up a productive, enlightening week at High Point Furniture Market.  For designers, design brands, artists and antique dealers, High Point's twice yearly Market is a must visit.  For over twelve years, I have been grateful to have been a part of the many happenings surrounding the show, a time when the city comes alive with design.  One of my favorite affordable, quality brands is Wildwood Home.  I was impressed with the  array of stylish accessories, beautiful mirrors, raffia wrapped furniture as well as the eclectic collection of lighting in every size and shape. This visit gave me a deeper appreciation for their wares, and they most certainly are one-stop shopping for the home.  They have many lines in their own collections, plus they work with designers and artists to create fresh new collections each year.
their first standing lamp is back on the market!
Originally known for their lighting, Wildwood celebrated their 50th year anniversary this Fall with a celebration in the showroom.  Designers were heard singing their praise for their Wildwood Selects offering bespoke options on furniture- from choices of brass or silver hardware to 3,500 painted colors from the Benjamin Moore paint collections.

Wildwood's fifty years of history was celebrated this Market with a look back in time at how they progressed. Wildwood's history- In 1900, Mr W.A. Bulluck left his work on a farm to start a retail furniture store in Rocky Mount, North Carolina.  In 1962, Bulluck's grandson, Bill Kincheloe (fresh from college graduation) took over the store with innovative ideas  to create customized lamps.  By 1969, the house produced a special line of lamps which became the original Wildwood line, soon sold to other stores around the country. In 1980, Wildwood expanded their offerings to include decorative accessories, floor and wall screens and decor with occasional furniture. This is certainly a brand that reinvents themselves often while holding on tight to their classic, traditional designs. This Market, three collections particularly topped our list of favored collections in the showroom- (photo below top row to bottom row) the Newport Mansions, Frederick Cooper and the Claire Bryson.

1. Newport Mansions collection reinvents the classics and inspired by the elegant mansions of Newport, Rhode Island.  Chinoiserie, ginger jars, birds and other motifs re-imagined. 2. The Frederick Cooper collection showcases a plethora of oversized, modern lighting with orbs, cables for height adjustment and various painted color options. 3. The Claire Bryson collection launched five new lights- four chandeliers and a sconce this Fall Market.
