I heard some good news today- The Modern Architecture + Design Society is now offering a new subscription for virtual, live-streaming events with 3D virtual tours of Mid-Century Architecture and Homes with in-depth discussions with professionals in the industry. Architecture aficionados from around the globe can now tune in from the comfort and safety of their home. First up is today's A Passion for MCM – A Tour of Mid-Century Modern Homes which kicks off the festivities touring six homes around country. Tune in all-day today live-streaming Saturday, April 3 for a chronicle of homes in three states- Texas, Colorado and California.
A little bit about the six homes on the tour- There will be two homes in Texas at the Starlight Village which recreates the eclectic Mid-Century lifestyle. Next, two Homes on Wilder Lane in Colorado built by New Century Modern Homes. One originally designed by Studio Gunn and brought to fruition by Lance Jackson, and another designed by Michael Roybal of the Roybal Corporation Architect. Third location is California's Silicon Valley, where Two Eichler homes were renovated and restored by John Klopf Architecture. purchase a ticket here
