Last Weekend's annual East Hampton Antiques & Design Show Preview Party was a special one as it celebrated 100 years of the East Hampton Historical Society.  The event brought together locals and design-industry folks who shared a common bond of savoring the history here in the East End with their love for vintage and antiques. Set on the historic Mulford Farm in East Hampton, this show attracts vendors from all over the country to this unique bucolic property which is complete with original barns, a working garden and a historic windmill.  It's a summer favorite event for me, and this year was extra special. The preview party on Friday night was set on a beautiful evening with lovely live music, delicious bites by local restaurant Bostwicks and the antiques were unique and plentiful.  It's noteworthy that some of my favorite vendors make it back year after year.  

Many of the former honorary chairs were in attendance as well and the party celebrated them, including- Jonathan Adler, Simon Doonan, Stephen Drucker, Steven Gambrel, Ina Garten, Celerie Kemble, Aerin Lauder, Charlotte Moss, David Netto, Tom Same, Scott Sanders and Marshall Watson 

The early buying on Friday evening offers attendees the opportunity to meet the vendors and shop their wares, which is followed by two days of shopping  on Saturday and Sunday.  In case you missed it, please check out the photographs, some provided by the East Hampton Historical Society, and others taken by Miles Stephenson.
