Happy Fourth of July- Let's Make Spiked Basil Lemonade for a Crowd

I am happy to share some photographs from years gone by when I served up a July 4 party at my beach cottage in East Hampton. I also wrote an article for then lovely magazine, Traditional Home about my celebration and sharing my favorite recipes and tabletop designs.

For some reason, I love lemons. They remind me of Italy, California and they represent all the wonderful aspects of summer. So, this July 4 I'll be whipping up a large batch of my fresh lemon & basil cocktail, and sharing with you as well.
