Under The Pergola post VI -- beautiful design ideas from Urban Zen in Sag Harbor

Under the Pergola VI
with Nest by Tamara
With the promise of August
we are reminded that summer is winding down,
so let's make the most of this celebratory month.
just a couple of delicious dishes offered up by this Sag Harbor restaurant,

Today's Under The Pergola post there are no recipes or parties with entertaining tips, but simply a showing of one of the prettiest pergola and outdoor settings over at the gorgeous, serene store in Sag Harbor called Urban Zen.  The store is owned by fashion maven Donna Karan and sells a cornucopia of lovely home and fashion items, and adjoins to restaurant Tutto Il Giorno, one of my favorite in the east end.  Not only are all these pretty wares in the garden for sale at Urban Zen, but if you love the space as much as I do, you can rent the outdoor oasis for your next soiree.  The restaurant will cater and I can imagine it will be a gorgeous evening under the Sag Harbor stars overlooking the marina.  friend interior designer Jonathan Legate and I meandered over there today for a long lunch before he headed back home to Nova Scotia.  The food is delicious and all the pastas and salads are infused with fresh herbs from the garden.
Take a look at the gorgeous space.

who knew that adding a little bling with rustic wooden structures would be so appealing?

nature-inspired sculptural pieces add lots to the space including this
knotty wood cocktail table with succulent.

bamboo, green and white hydrangeas and lots of natural materials help to create this glamorous outdoor space.

the combination of fashion, accessories and furnishings show a relaxed elegant lifestyle emulating Karan's brand and philosophy.
Happy Nesting
XO Tamara
