Meet Bones - Studio, beautifully crafted and engineered furniture

Introducing The Quarry Collection
from Bones Studio
in Raleigh, North Carolina!
The 2017 Architectural Digest Home Show wrapped up last weekend and as always, our favorite part of the show is the MADE section.  This is a designated area where a collection of artisans showcase their wares.  It is a perfect place to source items for off-the-beaten path finds, and mostly created by hand. This AD Show, we searched for some fantastic new designs, and topping our list for furniture was Bones Studio.  Owner Ryan Dart has an extensive background in industrial and furniture design, and launched Bones Studio in 2014.

We are smitten with Ryan's new Quarry collection, a line of indoor/outdoor marine-grade birch furniture made in North Carolina.  Organic shapes, clean lines and natural materials come together when creating these modern pieces.

After the show, we were over the moon to learn that he gifted us one of the mirrors he created for the display at the show to use in our charity design project for Housingwork's Design On A Dime.  We are excited to incorporate the mirror into our dining room vignette, which will be on display during the gala and sale on April 27 at the Metropolitan Pavilion in New York City.  All items donated for the annual Design On A Dime event are incorporated into these gorgeous room designs, then during the gala, each room's items are sold with proceeds going to this very worthwhile charity event.  Please pick up tickets to Design On A Dime here.

Take a look at these unique wares which are perfect for both indoor and outdoor use.  Please note, this furniture begins with a hand drawing, then progresses to a precise CAD design, then a prototype, and all manufactured in their own studio.
Happy Nesting
