A Gorgeous Dining Room & Luncheon by Interior Designer Elsa Soyars for Holiday House New York City
A Ladies Lunch in a Parisian Salon
Designed by Elsa Soyars
Southampton designer Elsa Soyars has travelled the globe taking in design and bringing that focus to her interiors. For her salon on the first floor dining room at this year's Holiday House, she channels the luxury of Paris yet wraps it in a welcoming and warm package. The house is a rambling 12,000 square foot, pre-war townhouse from 1904 in a beautiful neighborhood on the Upper East Side. The dining room holds its own bringing attention to luxury living with high-style. Every detail has been accounted for from the gorgeous handmade ceramic chandelier overhead by artist Andreea Braescu to the detailed plate service on the table by Vista Alegre for Christian Lacouix and Bernardau. The fireplace detailing handmade tiles by Allison Eden along with a gorgeous Mona Lisa tile art.
We sat to a delicious vegan lunch even down to the delightful vegan cupcakes all catered French-style by chef Alex from Vegan Wagon. The ladies who lunched certainly shared a treat- thank you Elsa!
Happy Nesting
XO Tamara
"the dining room captures not only a functional living space but also it shows a fashion element brought through fabric, luxurious textures and color - this is how I see Paris. It's pure fashion"
