Brizo to attend NY Fashion Week 

and take in the gorgeous frocks designed by Jason Wu.

What is all the hoopla about, you ask?  

The skinny:  

Interior design brand Brizo (think state of the art faucets) has been fashion designer Jason Wu's sponsor since 2006.  Each year Brizo hand-picks 19 influential design bloggers for an inspiring and productive week in NYC during Fashion Week.  That is how the Blogger 19 group was born.  Cut, to a few years later and there are 120ish of us who are bonded on our shared wonderful experience with Brizo.  Now, to top it off Brizo has invited our entire group to a sponsored trip to their headquarters in Memphis, TN.

His newest collection is graphic, elegant, simple but very textural.  

Love those damn shoes, and the use of Pantone color of the year Emerald with black, this soothing beige and all the white.  It just really works for me -- all of it!  While being so very fashion forward and high style, these designs are meant to wwar in real life for real people!   

While in Memphis our group will take part in a philanthropic program and partnership between Brizo and St. Jude's Children Hospital called St. Jude Dream Home Giveaway.  The program was created to build  homes around the country using donated materials and products (of course Brizo faucets and wares for the kitchen and bath too).  The Giveaway will offer the opportunity to win a new home.  All proceeds raised will go towards St. Jude's research and treatment to help children.
