Recap of Kips Bay Showhouse - a cozy space but packed with panache & beautiful nature-inspired details by Young Huh

Young Huh's
Hollyhock Lounge
at Kips Bay Showhouse this year
was divine!

Good things come in small packages, especially when it is outfitted with delicious details in every nook and cranny.  Interior designer Young Huh created a small space at Kips Bay, tucked in the back of the house on the first floor, yet she managed to design one of the most interesting rooms in the house.  With beautiful pink peonies greeting visitors on the mirrored-top center table, the glamorous tone was set.  Huh wove nature-inspired designs throughout the lounge, which included two outfitted bathrooms.  The Lounge was wrapped in a lovely floral package with delightful upholstered walls.
Huh upholstered the walls with this gorgeous, classic Lee Jofa fabric, which sets a pretty tone.

Tommy Mitchell floral sculptures
throughout the space brought both traditional and modern elements together.

Happy Nesting
XO Tamara
