Summer & Picnics Go Hand In Hand: DIFFA's Rooftop PICNIC BY DESIGN Tomorrow Evening in NYC

I love picnics,
don't you?

You may have read about our picnic tradition on the beach in East Hampton

And, I'd love to put together a traditional Italian picnic as described
by Sunset Magazine

I am fascinated with vintage picnic baskets I see over on etsy too.

And, I love Kate Spade's stylish orange and rattan picnic basket.

While on the subject of picnics,
I'm curious about this urban rooftop picnic party, DIFFA's 3rd Annual Picnic by Design which is an exciting summer event highlighting design, food and fun for a good cause.  Designers create fabulous picnic baskets that are sold in advance online When guests arrive, they are escorted to their one-of-a-kind designer picnic set-up, which they take home with them after the festivities with proceeds benefiting DIFFAI see many of my designer friends over on social media are sharing sneak peeks and enticing us with their creative designs.  You can join Diffa tomorrow evening for a rooftop picnic for two and pick up your very own creatively designed picnic basket tomorrow evening (Wednesday, August 13 from 6:30-10:30)  at the Midtown Loft & Terrace at 267 Fifth Ave. @ 29th Street.

In the meantime, take a look at sneak peeks of a few baskets...
