Pausing For a Moment To Relish In The 2015 New York City Holiday Window Displays
views of the 2015 holiday season in manhattan,
glowing and glorious
bergdorf goodman
We took a nice long walk from the upper east side to bryant park today. A brisk forty blocks through some of new york city's most toney streets, we basked in the hustle and bustle with a city now in the midst of primping for the holidays. The windows along fifth avenue were glowing. A quick stop into laduree to pick up macarons, we were sugared up. The rockefeller center tree is up, just not lit yet, so we caught glimpses of it, the calm before the storm of lights and extravaganza. Today, we share pretty pictures to take our minds off of all the noise that is raining down upon us these days from every corner of the globe. Not as many words as our usual posts, but we hope to inspire a "holiday spirit", that which causes you to pause for a moment and experience the power of feeling grateful for living in the moment and the beauty surrounding everywhere, and I hope this bestows upon you great blessings!

It's a bit surreal to walk by all these fancy stores, and even after living in New York City for over 25 years, I'm still in awe and invigorated by the energy!
