Out and about this week in the Hamptons, shopping for a client we came upon many home shops in the East End. Today, one that stands out set on three acres of meandering grounds, fountains, antique statues, lush plantings and a cornucopia of vintage furniture and accessories is the Mecox Gardens shop in Southampton. We may be a little bit partial since our Root Cellar Designs pillows are now being offered in the shop, but honestly our tortoiseshell, stick bug and other patterned pillows have found a happy home here. There is most certainly a bevy of talent stylizing this shop. Each corner is filled with wonderfully creative vignettes. In the East End of Long Island there are two Mecox Gardens--Southampton and East Hampton. Run over and nab some beauties for your beach house.
