Hi- It's Tamara. I'm happy you've stopped by, and since 2010 I've been sharing my passion for interior design, history, art, entertaining, travel & fashion. I am an interior designer, textile designer and writer living and working in New York City and East Hampton, Long Island. My musings have taken me to international design, art, antique and epicurean events and I have lots to share. I'm grateful to have been listed as the #1 top design blog, blogs to watch, top design blogs and named and awarded Rising Star of Design by the IFDA NY industry organization. Wallpaper Wednesday: Nest by Tamara's favorites from Hygge & West

Wallpaper Wednesday Round Up:
A Look at Hygge & West, Our Top Picks!
We are expanding our home textile company, Root Cellar Designs to include a 20 piece collection of wallpaper, debuting next month in September.  So, all summer we have wallpaper on our minds as we tweak our patterns and colors.  We keep finding ourselves on the pages of Hygge & West checking out these Danish-inspired patterns.  All simple, yet detailed at the same time, we are smitten!  I love the edited and stylish patterns, and our latest favorites are the black and white ones.  From city to country looks, here are our top seven...
These city views are offered up in black and crisp white palette.
We love how this paper takes you around the world in style!
 2. Knots (Gray) | Hygge & West
Nautically-inspired this pattern brings a fresh,
modern look at summer wallpaper.
a bit of the dramatic and tropical in the perfect pairing of pink and green
4. Otomi (Turquoise) | Hygge & West
an all-over toile in an exotic animal motif, and shown in this fresh turquoise color, we think it's fabulous!

5. Slice (Charcoal) | Hygge & West
Quintessentially Danish looking, this is at once modern and traditional with a technological feel.  We appreciate how it looks quite different from far away than it does up close!
looks like a pattern we'd hope to see on the offices of an architect. It's uber cool and hip, with an illustrative nature!
Who does not love blue and orange?  And, in this stylized version of a traditional animal toile paper, we love this pattern.

Happy Nesting
XO Tamara
