WHAT WE LOVE TODAY COLUMN: Tabletop Company Costa Nova's Lovely Collaborations
As we prepare our tabletop designs for the upcoming Lenox Hill Neighborhood House black-tie gala on April 11, we plan ahead to create a beautiful table, gleaning inspiration and using wares from some of the best in the tabletop and design industry. Each year, we create our very own bespoke table linens culled from our own fabric collections (rootcellardesigns.com), and this year we custom designed a pattern to add to our new spring collection, botanica Our Underwater pattern fits in nicely with this year's theme, "Make A Splash!".
I am also happy to note we are fortunate to be utilizing the ceramic plates from Portuguese company, Costa Nova, specifically their plates and chargers from the new Riviera Collection.

We met with the Costa Nova team at this year's NY NOW trade show, and together we all were instantly excited about collaborating on this annual charity event hosted in the beautiful, historic ballroom (a former bank) in Grand Central Station at Cipriani. The sea-glass colored Azure dinner plates from the Riviera Collection have an iridescent quality to them, channeling a tropical, chic yet relaxed lifestyle. The collection was designed by Christian Tortu who found inspiration from the shapes, colors and landscapes of the famous French and Italian riviera. We felt it is the perfect addition to this year's table design, so please stay tuned for more details!more about Costa Nova
