MEET THE ARTIST LIZZIE GILL

Keeping The Summer Vibe Going 
All Year Long With Art from Lizzie Gill
This summer we caught up with artist Lizzie Gill during her SUMMER SOLSTICE opening at the Montauk Beach House. Gill's art dotted the walls at the entrance of this hip motel and bar just across the street from the crashing surf, and it was the perfect addition to this summer experience. The colors...the designs...mixed medium pieces she creates from vintage photographs with the images all cut and assembled by hand. The feeling is retro Americana through a contemporary lens, and viewers are taken on a journey through time. 

Gill generously collaborated with us for our design installation, a beach house foyer vignette at the interior design show NYNOW at Jacob Javits Center where we showcased root cellar designs' Patina wallpaper along with Gill's Solstice III which is available framed for $2.500. Gill works from her Brooklyn Studio after having studied at the Studio Arts Center in Florence, Italy then Skidmore College earning a Bachelor in Fine Arts. Take a look at a few of our favorites from her studio, a combination of works on paper and canvas. We have no doubt this artists' star will soar!
