FASHION POST: Spring 2021 Fendi Has Us Swooning For Textured and White Hand Bags

Fashion Hits The Runway This Spring Then The Streets,
And (For A Moment)
Life Starts To Feel Normal Again
Fendi Promises a Clean, Fresh Start With
Accessories That Take Our Breath Away In a Backdrop of
Love, Family and Hope.
We Want To Take These Beauties Out On The Town
Following a Gloomy Year.

White is the promise of summer, these "Summer Whites"
have us yearning for fun-filled days by the sea. As spring hits, we almost always dust off our white linens and accessories pulling them from the back of the closet to celebrate the season ahead, but this year it feels extra important.

After perusing all the fashion- there's some brights and blacks and lots of new frocks with funky looks-  the "IT" accessory has got to be these lovely textured hand bags Fendi offered up in Milan at the reawakening Fashion Week.  Whether it's a clutch embossed or embroidered or a veil of lace or made of feathers or prim and proper lady bags with cut out designs or textured oversized tote, the white bag has us swooning. There are amped versions of the original Baguette and Peekaboo with a lot of bells and whistles that hits different.

The Fendi show last year opened with dark and gloomy photographs from a year of "lockdown" but quickly turn a turn towards love and hope. It's an exciting time for the Italian fashion house who offered up Kim Jones as the new artistic director to replace Karl Lagerfeld after his passing.  In Milan last year, Silvia Venturini Fendi showed the new line with her family (yes, the Fendi family) as inspiration.  There as ethereal, beautiful fashion and these gorgeous bagsFashion in general is looking less gender specific this season, and it all starts to blend nicely over at Fendi with men carrying handbags too.  Thanks Fendi- we need this!
