Let's Take A Walk Over to the Bergdorf Goodman's Holiday Windows, 2022

The Finest Holiday Windows in
New York City
Are At
Bergdorf Goodman

Bergdorf Goodman’s holiday windows are iconic, and every year I visit with my friend Carrie Leskowitz to see the unveiling of these unique, artisanal displays.  We make a whole, festive day of it to bop around the city, and it's always the highlight to see these gorgeous windows.

This year, it’s seven holiday windows all paying homage to artists and artisans and the handiwork they provide, their techniques from decoupage and paper cut outs to textile layering and cutting honoring traditions that go back centuries of creativity.

We then took a walk beyond the windows inside the store to the seventh floor and it’s a Christmas wonderland showcasing an array of digital art work, lots of vintage and hand created textiles. It seems especially crafty this year, and I love it! It's a must see to put you in the "Christmas Spirit," a treasure trove of detailing and the longer you look the more the stories unfold.

These windows took a year to complete and designs shown were from fashion talentsCarolina Herrera, Aliette, Libertine, Marc Jacobs, and Paco Rabanne (to name a few). Bergdorf Goodman is located on Fifth Avenue at 58th Street on both sides of the street.
visit the Seventh Floor which is their home department with accessories and even a holiday shop!

Happy Nesting
XO Tamara
