The East Hampton Historical Society Presents
Their Annual Summer Lecture Luncheon,
with acclaimed interior designer,
Alex Papachristidis
to share details about his latest book,
The Elegant Life
For eight years now, the East Hampton Historical Society has hosted a wonderful Lunch and Learn series to explore and celebrate the rich history in the community. This Thursday, August 8 the tradition continues at 11 am at the beautiful Maidstone Club at 50 Old Beach Lane in East Hampton. The talented designer Alex Papachristidis will draw on his latest book to profile his many beautiful projects to include a luxe, modern beach house decorated in gold, silver, and white; a Manhattan home that has a vivid lavender-and-blue palette; and a colorful “bohemian” apartment incorporating mid-century furniture. Each project presents the creative ways he makes spaces versatile to share with friends and family – from cozy seating areas to games tables.
Many in the industry admire Papachristidis' fresh work showing an elegant approach, color palette and delightful details and while allowing even a small room to shine with great style. This is a unique opportunity to hear in detail from this designer who has mastered the skill of fusing modern and traditional elements. His interiors can be found all over the world from Manhattan, the Hamptons, Philadelphia, Los Angeles, Connecticut, New Hampshire, Florida, Texas and Colorado—to London and Saudi Arabia.
The East Hampton Historical Society will host their annual Summer Lecture Luncheon at the historic Maidstone Club, overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, on Thursday, August 8 at 11:00 a.m. The Summer Lecture Luncheon is made possible in part by the generous support of Wilmington Trust, and Doyle Auctioneers and Appraisers.
