Looking At Layered, Maximalist Interior Design in the Home During Christmas

Let's Bring A Little Bit
Of Old World Charm
Into
Our Homes
This Christmas
Today, it's a wordless Christmas post (mostly wordless), as I look at some of the Old World aesthetics that bring me joy, take me back and make me feel the warmth of the season.  To me, Christmas in our homes is not the time to go simple, instead the layered beautiful designs bringing old and new together is what I personally love.
Of course, there's a fine line between beautiful and tacky, so my goal is to bring in lots of items with patina, as many antiques as possible and nothing plastic (if avoidable).  This helps to keep it warm and maintain that Old World Aesthetic.

Take a look, and for more inspiration check out my Christmas Board.

Happy Nesting
XO Tamara
