In an age when sites like Instagram, Pinterest and Tumblr (please find me busy over at at these places) are all the rage, beautiful images are on every college kid's mind. As the fall season promises to rush in, many of us are busy decorating our college kid's dorms and apartments. I came upon company REDBUBBLE, which offers cool, interesting, stylish posters, canvas art and even offer their images printed on throw pillows, and all at bargain prices. This is not the average run-of-the-mill posters of the past, but creative, artistic art and photography offered in various sizes and formats. REDBUBBLE generously gifted us a large Canvas Art piece to hang front and center in my daughter's new apartment at Cornell University. Going with a nature and ocean-inspired theme, the girls chose this ethereal painting. This stretched canvas in a large size works perfectly well in their new home.

Using this ocean scene and color palette we hope to keep the girls inspired and uplifted through a long, cold winter in Ithaca. We also chose these throw pillows (below) for the dining room, and priced at under $25 each they are perfect for college kids on a budget.
