Heading To KBIS in Las Vegas-- On The Hunt For Stellar Kitchen And Bath Products from Thermador and Mr. Steam

Exploring Luxury For
My Two Favorite Rooms,
The Bathroom & The Kitchen
I am Excited To Head to
my favorite Kitchen & Bath Show,
KBIS VEGAS 2019
This trip has me thinking about my two favorite rooms in the house, the kitchen and the bathroom.  When considering purchases for my home it comes down to comfort.  I equate comfort and ease with luxury.  It feels luxurious to make my busy life a little bit easier- it can't get any more indulgent then cooking on a state-of-the-art gas cooktop in my kitchen, or taking a steam shower in my own bathroom.   In the kitchen-- when I come home at the end of a busy day, I usually throw down my bags and head straight to the kitchen to cook dinner.  It is quite a luxury to be able to cook on a  beautifully engineered gas cooktop, and those added features make it even more fun for me to pour myself a glass of wine, turn on my favorite tunes and whip up my favorite dishes. The bathroom is where I pamper myself.  Drawing a long, hot bubble bath is a stress reliever, but to think I could actually be indulging in a spa-like experience with a steam shower in my own home, puts indulgence over the top for me.  For both of these reasons, I am excited to learn more while at KBIS from two of our sponsors- Thermador and Mr. Steam

This will not be my first foray into the world of Thermador, and I traveled to Northern California a few years back to cook with their team on their state of the art stoves and cooktops.  I've purchased a few of their products for my clients too. I met with the Mr. Steam team as well when at KBIS in New Orleans a few years ago, and I'm enamored with their products.  It will be wonderful to refresh my knowledge about both of these brands.
What's on my radar from them?
Mr. Steam offers eco-friendly products which help to improve the quality of one's lifestyle while embracing holistic, healthy living. I'm interested to learn more about their "essential oil therapy" while infusing aromatic extracts from botanicals to improve health. Who doesn't love that? Stay tuned and I'll bring you the skinny on all the details from both these companies and our other sponsor at KBIS, and in the meantime please follow our hashtags for in real time coverage at #designhoundsKBIS and #designhounds

Thermador's Star Burner offers a unique star shape which evenly distributes the flame (don't you hate gas stoves when they have weird inconsistent flames?) This star shape gives the cook precise control over their cooking!
Happy Nesting
XO Tamara
