Interior Designers Turn Up The Creativity for Lenox Hill Neighborhood House Gala - a tabletop, philanthropic & design extravaganza

Spring in New York City
brings a bevy of
tabletop design inspiration...
We are pleased
with our
Eve's Temptation
table at the Lenox Hill Neighborhood gala!
This year's theme
Garden of Eden
allowed for lots of artistic interpretation.

Susan Young and I stylized a table for the annual Lenox Hill Neighborhood swanky tabletop gala where many guests turned out in black tie to sip Cipriani's famous Bellini's, look over the creative tables and donate to this very worthy cause.  The room is in the historic Grand Central Station and has soaring ceilings and dark, dramatic architecture, so we showcased our new custom designed tabletop collections of table linens, napkins, tea towels and coasters from Root Cellar Design in fresh vibrant colors.  The Garden of Eden theme brought a sea of creativity to the room.  We custom designed a fig cotton/linen toile in a vibrant lavender and blue palette, fig napkins, tea towels and coasters in our pattern styles to give as gifts to our guests.  The finished look took on a decidedly Greek/Roman feel with the powerful color palette juxtaposed with white serpentine urns made exclusively for Flair Home from Arete Collection, with my antique Eve-inspired garden sculpture.  We topped off the design with graphic platinum and white porcelain plates from Haviland in the new Duomo pattern, inspired by the Italian architecture. We added amethyst disks from Rablabs as name card holders with a fresh fig holding the guest's place.
No sooner had we adjusted the finishing touches to our table when lifestyle blog author Sarah Sarna stopped by and took these photos to feature in her
"best of Lenox Hill" post.
Thank you Sarah Sarna blog!
