What We Love Today Column From Paris Design Week 2018

What We Love Today:
Dedar Milan's Tie-Break Woven Collection

While in Paris for the January Deco-off, we saw first-hand the premier fabric house debuts of fabrics and wall coverings, and one stand-out was in the Dedar showroom, a new collection inspired from menswear neck ties.  The fabric is in vibrant colors and looks and feels like silk, yet it is perfect for commercial use since it's  fire-retardant and offered in nine textiles.  These patterns and colors will  elevate hotel and home with their swanky designs and tap into the Italian's penchant for bespoke menswear. They had other fire-retardant textiles on-hand in long, flowing drapery showing no compromise on quality when considering new applications for fabric.  Happy to see the past and future converging on the latest textiles...

the Poltrona - Say Goodbye Flora collection also fire-retadeant in the Dark Crystal color and showing on drapes in the showroom!

loving the small cherry design too!

Happy Nesting
XO Tamara
