Meet Me At High Point Furniture Market in North Carolina In Two Weeks With The Design Bloggers Tour 2019!
On April 6 I'm excited to attend High Point Furniture Market. Although I travel to several key interior design and architectural trade shows each year, both internationally and throughout the States, High Point Market is special because it is as valuable to see the latest, greatest and most innovative products as it is to glean new knowledge from industry folks. I find it rewarding to connect with a bevy of talented people from around the globe who attend, host educational seminars and talks, and launch their products to the industry. I do love to see beautiful home products months before they appear on the home market. It gives me a lot of fodder and I always come away with new array of sources for my clients as well as knowledge of where we are heading in the world of interior design to share here on the blog.
What is High Point, you ask? It's the epi-center of furniture, lighting, art, antiques, textiles and other home products. It's been said that if you can't find it at High Point Market, it may not exist! It is SO much more than a furniture trade show, and it has become a meeting of the top design minds with creative people and manufacturers making magic together and hailing from all over the world. It's a huge event-- a trade-only show taking place in 180 buildings and 12 million square feet of show space, with 2000 exhibitors and 75,000 attendees- believe me when I tell you to wear comfortable shoes!
I am excited to attend this year as one of ten chosen design bloggers developed in partnership with Esteem Media called the Design Bloggers Tour. We will tour the show with several sponsors, gleaning up-close time with those who design and manufacture these products. After the show I'll bring you the back-story here on the blog of my favorite designs, the color and design story this Market, and what brands I'm most excited about.
