When I see these images
from Norman Rockwell's art
which chronicles the American family,
I am deeply touched,
reminding me of generations of my own family.

a personal note on the subject:
You may remember I traveled to Memphis, TN this summer to share a special week with many other design bloggers. We were sponsored by Brizo faucet company to travel and see their headquarters and factory. It was a great experience to see how their quality faucets were made, then travel with the Brizo team to visit the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. The two have paired up for some great philanthropic collaborations, and we learned all about it on our trip. It was heart-felt to see first-hand how the Hospital is leading the medical industry in treatment and research to try and cure childhood cancer and other deadly diseases. this walk and topic seems quite pertinent as we head into an important holiday celebrating family.
Happy Thanksgiving,
happy Nesting
