Next, a few of us writers are invited in to meet with the Traditional Home team just before the opening gala for a behind the scenes sneak peek at the house and opportunity to meet the designers
Each year Lillian August creates an impressive space for the Hampton Showhouse - this year is no exception. For the past few years, long after the houses have sold, the buyers hired Lillian August to design their new home - a testament to consumers loving what they see.
Skye points out to me that the team thinks about the Hampton lifestyle when creating their spaces, and they work hard to create livable, comfortable designs while incorporating a mixture of antiques and modern furnishings. The main living room overlooks the pool and patio with views of almost every corner of the downstairs. Skye explains the neutral palette was chosen and works well with the kitchen and surrounding spaces creating a cohesive design scheme.
