Summer 2021 Kicks Off In The Hamptons With An Art Opening by Iris Dankner at Heritage Brazil Gallery
Art & Furniture Combined:
A Unique Art Opening
June 22nd in the Hamptons
I popped into a gorgeous viewing of art in a former Ice factory turned furniture gallery in an industrial section of Southampton, Long Island this week to kick off my summer 2021 festivities. The Heritage Brazil Gallery is set in an all white brick-lined studio with a stylish garage door as the front door, and the space was the perfect backdrop for a collection of graphic, mostly black and white paintings created by New York interior designer & artist, Iris Dankner. You may know Iris as the brainchild of design-charity event Holiday House (which raises funds for breast cancer research through organizing design showhouse projects from New York City to London), but this talented designer is spreading her creative wings.
"During the pandemic I returned to my love of painting tapping into my earlier years while studying and painting at Carnegie Melon's school of art and design. It became a creative outlet for me bringing comfort during this time. This new project blossomed and I created many works as a result."- Iris Dankner
Not sure where this is going to take her, but as a true creative spirit, Iris is letting this new adventure guide her- first selling her paintings on Chairish to great success, now with this gallery opening collaborating with unique furniture brand and studio, Heritage Brazil.
